Welcome to Sacred Heart Books and Gifts, LLC. We are a family business dedicated to our Lord and Lady.

Our business began in September 1997. At that time we were still homeschooling our three sons, Kenny, Jason and Ben. Our youngest, Ben, graduated in 2002 allowing Sacred Heart to mature into the business it is today.

We are dedicated to serving the Family, especially single income families. Because of this, we strive to offer a competitive discount on most of our products.

Sacred Heart Books and Gifts, LLC has matured into a ministry, offering sage advice to new and old home schooling families and spiritual enrichment to those wanting to strengthen their faith.

For over two years we have been offering Free Shipping for orders over $20. Beginning October 2008 we will continue offering Free Shipping, but for orders over $25. Orders under $25 will be charged $4.50 for shipping. Throughout this year especially we have been charged extra fees by many of our suppliers and because of this we felt we needed to change our Free Shipping policies.

Keep in mind that we discount 365 days a year. Items not discounted are due to publishers’ requests or because of low discounts given to us by our suppliers.

Handling Fee

At Sacred Heart Books and Gifts we strive to keep our products at the lowest prices possible. We do not mark up any product and then provide a discount. We do not throw in any gimmicks to create an illusion of steep discounts. Our mission is to bring to you the finest products at a fair cost. We have worked hard to maintain the highest levels of quality and service.

Over the years we have implemented many procedures to save our customers money on their shipping costs. We do our best to consolidate shipments. Any items we don't readily have on hand are backordered. We will and do ship partial orders and fulfill backorders as they arrive.

Unfortunately, our vendors have been increasing their handling costs for inbound freight. Prices for packaging materials are rising as well. To stay competitive, we work on thin margins - even the small costs of packaging can make the difference between a net profit and a net loss on a transaction.

We have carefully evaluated many options when determining how best to address the added costs of doing business. We have determined that in order to continue to offer free shipping, we are going to implement a handling charge of $2.00 per order. This charge will apply only once on all orders no matter the size or the number of shipments made to fulfill the order. The charge will be added to your order when we get ready to ship your order out.
